Holy Humidity is a dual use humidity alert sensor utilizing the DHT22 sensor designed to help those with simple humidifiers and/or dehumidifiers determine where in their house is the best place to put them and also give alerts when they should be turned on or off. The device has an onboard status LED which gives a humidity range depending on what color the light is. The light is green if it is within 10%, either above or below the set desired humidity which by default is 45%. If it is above the 10% threshold the LED is red and if it is below, the light is purple. The desired humidity can be set two different ways, one of which being the onboard buttons which increase and decrease the percentage by 1% each press. The red button lowers the value, while the blue button increases the value. In addition to the LED and buttons there is a dedicated HTML page which can display the real time humidity and temperature values and also set the desired humidity level. In addition to the LED and HTML monitoring, the device also comes with the built in capability to send emails to the user every hour if the detected humidity is out of 15% of the desired value. This is done through ifttt.com.

While the device is mainly designed for humidity monitoring, it also comes equipped with a speaker to provide hydration alerts to the user. The hydration alerts are disabled by default, but on the same HTML site as before, the user has the option to turn the alerts on. The time between alerts is set to 30 minutes automatically, but the user has the ability to change this in the HTML site to whatever minute value they please.
