Our project is an instrument that you can play just by moving your hand around! It also lets you record and playback your amazing music and write custom songs.

Our Project

Problem: Playing a normal, non-electric, disconnected instrument is boring and not very unique.
Solution: A wifi connected instrument that anyone can play with just a hand.
Features: A range sensor to detect the user's hand and play a note according to distance from the sensor. A record and play button for songs played by the user's hand. A web control page described below:

Web Control Page

This is the web control page for our project. It allows the user to enter and save the photon's device id and access token, then select and play a preset song. It also supports entering and playing custom user-defined songs.
